Another hit in the Hart
Comedy movies are once
again reigning in theatres across the globe and Kevin Hart made sure he was
part of that movement.
The comedian has been
on a roll and there is no stopping him now. After hit movies like Central
Intelligence, Jumanji, The Secret Life of Pets and Ride Along, Kevin has come
up with another film that will make you hurt your laughing muscles.
He teamed up with
Tiffany Haddish to make a movie that is relatable in so many ways. Night School is fun comedy and it offers
the audience a lot. The cast was perfectly put together and this is what makes
the comedy a success.
The movie has already
made waves in other countries and now Namibians can experience its comedy. It
is however not the perfect comedy and is definitely not an Oscar contender.
Audiences from around the world love it, but the critics have not been to easy
on it.
I personally enjoy
having more comedy films on the silver screen, but unfortunately Night School is not in my top 5 for this
year. It provides all the laughter, but does not live up to all the hype. That
said, I still think it is a great movie to watch with friends or family.
It has its flaws, but
if you just want to go the cinema to relax, then this is the one for you. Let
Kevin and Tiffany brighten your day.
The film follows a
group of adults who want to earn their high school diplomas. Teddy (Kevin Hart)
is forced to attend night school to get his certificate, but it is not as easy
as he thought. He soon finds himself dealing with a group of misfit students,
his former high school nemesis and a feisty teacher (Tiffany Haddish).
My Verdict
It is not the best
movie out there, but it is fun. It is not perfect, but you can easily ignore
all its flaws. Overall, I think the movie is definitely watchable and really
funny. So do not miss out on another Kevin Hart hit.
Rating: 7.2/10 – Good
