Foul-mouthed, but funny

Deadpool made his third cinematic debut in only his second movie ever. I know that is confusing, but I will explain in a moment.
The second movie in the “10-year long” Deadpool franchise finally made its way to theatres worldwide and it definitely does not disappoint. Ryan Reynolds listened to the audience and gave us exactly what we deserved.
The Merc with a Mouth’s second solo outing is filled with characters and well reference to both Marvel and DC characters. The movie follows its predecessor’s success and tries to build on it, but unfortunately at fails at certain places.
It just does not have the charm of the first film, but it definitely ups the humour and action sequences. The storyline is also more developed, but some characters are not fully developed. Luckily their cinematic moments make up for it (Talking to you Domino).
Josh Brolin’s Cable is magnificent and he is definitely a scene stealer. Why you ask? Well, he is simply a badass and a total opposite of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. Thank goodness Brolin signed up to do four films, because there is still so much to learn about Nathan Summers aka Cable.
The formation of the X-Force is also well overdue and Peter is the stand-out team member, although he is probably just a 40-something year old suburban dad. Deadpool clearly loves him in ways no one expected.
Other break-outs come from the movie’s actual villains, I do not want to say too much as I want to keep this review spoiler-free. Just be prepared to have your mind blown by certain twists and also literal movie explosions.
What I meant the third appearance by Deadpool is, well do you remember the cameo in X-Me: Origins: Wolverine? Yeah, that one, it started out great but was a total let-down. Luckily Deadpool 2 somehow fixes that.
The movie also includes a view mid-credits scenes, so be sure not to miss those. There are also a bunch of celebrity cameos, including one by Brad Pitt. The best thing about the Deadpool movies is, they are so much fun and it makes you forget about all the other dramatic movies like Avengers: Infinity War (it is still one of the best movies though).
In Deadpool 2, the titular hero tries to protect a young mutant against the time-travelling soldier called Cable. He forms the X-Force to help him on his latest mission; this also brings him into contact with the X-Men once again.
I rate Deadpool 2 Four out of Five.
