A World At Its End
If
dinosaurs were to come out of extinction will we do everything in our power to
save them or will we just watch them die again?
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom plays perfectly with this dilemma
and it makes you think what would happen if dinosaurs would really come back to
life. How will the world react? Will we give them the same rights as other
animals or will they just be a scientific abomination?
The movie in
my opinion is master piece and that’s not only because I really love dinosaurs,
but also because the story is magnificent. J.A. Bayona did an excellent job and
he was the perfect successor for Colin Trevorrow.
The movie
takes us back to what made the original Jurassic Park such a hit, animals that
actually seem real. You feel their pain and you understand what they are going
through. Maybe it’s because of the animatronics or the advanced CGI, but it all
works along great.
Fallen Kingdom is not perfect, it has plot holes and after the first action filled scenes it is a long drag before we finally get to see more dinos in action. Once the film takes us back to the island the movie finally begins to pick up pace and the real action starts.
What makes
this movie great is all the scary and gory scenes. An R-Rating would have made
it so much better and it could have had a great horror feel. All the scenes on
the island and in the mansion is an adventure you don’t want to end.
You also
get to see some dinosaurs in action that you have never seen. And of course the
T-Rex and Velociraptor, Blue steal all the scenes in the movie. Even with all
the death and distraction caused by the dinosaurs, we all still seem to cheer
for our favourite oversized lizards.
The movie is
a must see and if you loved the previous movies in the franchise then this
might end up being one of your favourites. By the way, the cast wasn’t too bad
either, but the antagonist’s reasons seem to be a little flat, but the
character is still kind of good. The movie’s ending is chilling and it
perfectly sets up Jurassic World 3. I give the movie 4.8 out of 5.
Jurassic
World: Fallen Kingdom is set three years after the destruction of the Jurassic
World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla
Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt.
They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while
uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.
